Hmmm... A lens hood, filter kit, and no lens...??? Brilliant! Oh, and I forgot the crappy memory card, crappier memory card reader, and POS non-Nikon flash. It's not uncommon for people to buy camera bodies and lens separately, which ended up being a better value (I found a 18-55 on amazon for $140...regularly $240). So I'd definitely try this package if you're on a budget like me. As for the deal itself, it's amazing. The filters, bag, tripod, lens hood, and flash were all Zeikos. The flash itself is regulary retailed at $200 and priced on amazon at $140, which makes the deal already worth it's while, since the deal here would've cost only $72 more than buying a body alone (no kit). There is a vast array of glass available for this camera for any application or style. However the items included in this kit are rather of substandard quality and performance for a camera of this quality. Would you really put regular unleaded gas in your Ferrari if it was design to run on premium? The accessories are not to bad, but you can to much better looking around the web for upgrades far superior then those listed. In fact a D7000 (body only) can be found easily under $1200, and the money saved can then be used to get a nice prime lens or better flash or memory cards and so on. Shop smart, and think it through.
