This would have been fine if I did not want a warranty, but spending almost $2000.00 I want the warranty, I email sunset electronics as I was upset they lied to me, the offered me an extend warranty via another company, I asked for more information about this company, I checked out the warranty companies web page and no where on there could I find out where I would have to send my camera to, only a phone number to call, no thanks I will just return the package and get my money back, Eric with sunset electronics was no help at all, basically wanted to get me off the phone with a... Nikon told me that they are grey market. It's either the camera is not Nikon D7000, refurbished or stolen. Eric of sunset electronics told me that this is brand new. I called him and I said that there's a comment on review that people complaint about them and he is mad at me he said " the reviewer supposed to be removing that comment" but since the customer did not removed the review, Eric removed the whole package and make another package without any rating. So the people buying the camera will not see it. SO BEWARE OF SUNSET ELECTRONIC. His explanation was fine, his delivery time adequate, and his interest in keeping the customer satisfied reassuring. The real issue is with the type of product offered. As a "Kit" it has elements that don't seem to fit the camera lens, the attached flash is too cheap to use, and the bag that comes with it would never protect the camera body and lens. I looked at purchasing the individual parts, but choose to buy the "Kit" and if I had to do it over I think I would buy the individual parts and possibly spend just a little (very little) more on the components. Lesson learned. |
