All other items in this kit work like i would expect them too. all in all i love the camera and the two nikon lenses. I would suggest the d5100 and the two nikon lenses to anyone who wants a good nikon 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful Great Nikon D5100 Bundle!!, Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Nikon D5100 Digital SLR Camera & 18-55mm G VR DX AF-S Zoom Lens with 55-300mm VR Lens + 32GB Card + .45x Wide Angle & 2x Telephoto Lenses + Remote + (2) Filters + Tripod + Accessory Kit (Electronics) We were going to buy D5100 w/ 18-55 & 55-300 lens in Walmart for $1,026.21 w/tax, in-store delivery in 7-14 days, then we found this bundle in Amazon w/ everything we needed for our new camera for $1,069.90, delivered to our door in 5 days!!!Every item in the bundle was tried and all work great: memory card in the camera, UV filters protecting lens, wide angle for landscape pics, wireless remote control to take family pic, fast memory card reader, nice cleaning kit, tripod was fun for the family, screen protector for LCD screen, beautiful Nikon bag, memory card holder for extra cards, good 2x telephoto lens for long distance objects. We're still exploring camera's cool features, it'll take a while until we master all them, it's been a dream owing this camera, takes awesome pics even when is out of focus... :) Photos in Jpeg format are very nice; in RAW format they are crispy clear (great to be manipulated in Lightroom), even though they take more space in... There seems to be some kind of prejudice about it by experts. Regardless, it looks and works FINE. Don't worry about it. The battery cover switch is infintesimally small and hard to work even with my normal fingers. The menus and other buttons are just fine. The 18-55mm lens is super. I've never done wide angle before and this has proved to be a fun and interesting option. The 55-300 telephoto is OK. To be honest I think at maximum magfication the results are not especially good even when using a tripod. I am saying blurry when blown up. Too blurry. Disappointing. Battery life in my useage has been only fair...seems to drain faster than it should, especially if taking even a few flash pics. Accessories: The wide angle/macro is great for taking closeups. The 2x extender... Read more |
